Short description

A hex-based strategy game built by us, players who loved the classics and never stopped fixing them in our heads. Found a civilization, expand across the world, and outlast your rivals through war, diplomacy, science, or culture. One more turn, minus the frustrations, unless you’re getting stomped.

About this game

Every strategy community has the game it never stopped playing. For a lot of us, that game had a hex map, one unit per tile, and a thousand hours of “one more turn”... followed by a thousand forum posts about what should have been different.

We started The Quiet Empire because we couldn’t find the version we wanted. We played everything on the market. None of it was the game in our head. Nobody was coming back to fix it. So, that’s what we are doing.

What it is

A turn-based 4X strategy game on a hex grid. Found your first city, push into the unknown, and decide how your civilization wins: Conquest, Diplomacy, Science, or Culture. Every choice compounds across the turns, and the empire you end with is the one you earned.

What we fixed

  • An AI that can actually fight a war.
  • A late game worth reaching.
  • Diplomacy you can read.
