Why play

Why play The Quiet Empire

128 Civs

One hundred and twenty-eight civilizations. Pick one, found your first city, and see how far it goes.

Multiple Leaders per Civ

Same Civ, different Leader, different empire. You choose who sits on the throne.

Every game, a different rival

Leaders with real personalities

Every Leader has a distinct personality, applied dynamically each game. No two games play the same. No more canned, stale AI responses — just AI rivals that think for themselves, and an AI that can actually fight a war.

128 Civs

Civilizations

Ten of the civilizations you can lead. Explore all 128 on the world map.

The Quiet Empire

About this game

Every strategy community has the game it never stopped playing. For a lot of us, that game had a hex map, one unit per tile, and a thousand hours of “one more turn”... followed by a thousand forum posts about what should have been different.

We started The Quiet Empire because we couldn’t find the version we wanted. We played everything on the market. None of it was the game in our head. Nobody was coming back to fix it. So, that’s what we are doing.

Four paths to victory

What it is

A turn-based 4X strategy game on a hex grid. Found your first city, push into the unknown, and decide how your civilization wins: Conquest, Diplomacy, Science, or Culture. Every choice compounds across the turns, and the empire you end with is the one you earned.
